The Mayor and Mayoress of Pembroke, Clr. Dennis Evans and Rita Evans, hosted a Macmillan breakfast at the Cliff House Guest House, Saundersfoot, by kind permission of Anne and Mike Slade.

Both Anne and Mike are ardent supporters of Macmillan Cancer Support and all the money raised went towards the Mayor’s charity fund for Macmillan.

Over 20 supporters and friends were met and greeted at the door by the Mayor and Mayoress before sitting down to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast cooked by Anne.

Following the breakfast, everyone took the opportunity to socialise with each other over a cup of coffee.

The Mayor thanked everyone for their support and gave special thanks to Anne and Mike on behalf of the charity.

The sum of £215 was raised on the day, with a further £30 coming from donations making a grand total of £245.
