Two members of staff at a South Pembrokeshire school are bracing themselves for a charity abseil.
Angelo Rossi and Sue Taylor, who both work at Monkton Priory CP School, will be abseiling the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth in aid of Brain Tumour Research.
The tower is Portsmouth's tallest landmark, soaring 170 metres above the harbour and The Solent.
The tower is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and Big Ben and the pair will be descending from a terrifying 94 metres.
Some of you may be saying why on earth would they want to do something like this?
Well, 21-year-old Angelo, an LSA, and Sue, 53, an admin officer, are doing it in memory of two people close to their hearts who were sadly taken away far too young due to a brain tumour - Angelo's mum's friend Sally Anne, who passed away in her 40s, and Sue's godson, Geraint, who was in his 20s. They are also doing it for one of their close friend's father who also passed away from the same illness, as well as other friends who are suffering from the illness.
"We are making it our aim to raise as much money as we can for Brain Tumour Research," said Sue, of Wallaston Green.
"Those of you who know us will understand why we are so nuts to do something like this and we cannot thank you enough for your continued support with everything we do. Bring on this abseil and help conquer it together," said Angelo, of Carew, who is taking part in this charity challenge just over 12 months after he donated lifesaving bone marrow.
The duo have previously raised £6,500 by organising a charity ball, the proceeds of which they shared between Brain Tumour Research and CLIC Sergeant.
This is not Sue's first abseil. She previously abseiled down Monkton Church tower to raise funds for a new roof.
"The Spinnaker abseil was all Angelo's idea," added Sue. "I am looking forward to it, but trying not to think of the height. I just need to keep focused on why we are doing it."
The abseil takes place on April 25.
