With the summer sound of leather on willow due to be heard on the cricket grounds of Pembrokeshire from this weekend, we thought it appropriate to feature a cricket team in this week’s Blast from the Past. Taken by photographer Malcolm Richards, the picture is of a past Cresselly team with the Harrison-Allen Bowl. We are not exactly sure of the year, but believe it was probably in the the 1970s, which was a golden decade for the club, winning the trophy on four occasions and finishing runners-up once. Several familiar faces appear, including the likes of Maurice Cole, Dave Morris, Glyn Cole, John Arthur, Peter James, Philip James. How many do you recognise?
