This week’s ‘Blast from the Past’ comes from Dick Roberts and shows children of the Narberth Church School in 1952 along with two student teachers, Monica Beckett (of New Hedges) and Brynmor Scott.

From the back left, the children are as follows: Willie Bowen, Sydney Thomas, Vincent Hallwood, Dick Roberts, Mervyn Thomas; (middle): Sylvia Hughes, Voney Irving, Julie Evans, Pat Lloyd, Mary Jenkins, Hazel Evans; (front): Fred Thomas, Peter Barrett, Gwynfor Bowen. Sadly only a handful of those pictured are still alive today.
