This week’s Blast from the Past picture has been kindly loaned to us by Jean Lewis, of Llanddewi Velfrey (formerly of Pentlepoir). The date of the picture is unknown, but it shows the Rt. Hon. George Thomas, Speaker of the House of Commons, on his annual visit to Tenby to preach at the Methodist Church in Warren Street. George was a big friend of Dr. Cyril Gwyther (minister of Tenby Methodist Church). Sadly none of them are still with us.
