All eyes were on St.?George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on Saturday when Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle.
Posing for photographs for the world’s media on the west steps of the chapel following the ceremony - this has brought back memories of a visit there for Canon Michael Butler, of Saundersfoot, who attended a residential clergy course at St. George’s House in October 1998.
The only cleric from Wales to attend the course, Canon Butler is pictured middle row third from left.
Incidentally, the present governor and constable of Windsor Castle is Admiral Sir James Perowne whose parents John and Floss Perowne lived in Sardis and kept a bookshop on The Strand in Saundersfoot in the 1970-80s.
