With Saturday seeing the last of Wales’ autumn rugby internationals, we thought it appropriate to take a look back at one of our own former international players, Narberth’s Geraint Bowen, who is seen here in full flow. Geraint, a strong running fullback, played for Wales in their 24-7 victory over Canada during their tour of North America in 1980. Amazingly , though, he and other players from that match were not awarded their caps until 34 years later, eventually receiving them in 2014.
