Apologies if this has been used before, but with summer coming and a new bowling season about to get underway in the county, we thought it appropriate to pluck this picture from our archives for this week’s Blast from the Past feature. It shows Saundersfoot Bowling Club, obviously after a very successful season, as we assume that’s the county shield they are proudly displaying. Several familiar faces are amongst the team and some of them are still displaying their skills on the greens. The Saundersfoot green is due to open for the 2017 season next Saturday, April 8. while Tenby’s opened a week earlier, yesterday (Saturday, 1st).
