Brothers Jack and Sam Blackledge who hail from Tenby originally recently signed up for the 320 mile cycle from Cardiff to Paris to raise money for Ty Hafan, completing the the challenge earlier this month for the worthwhile charity cause, reaching the French capital on February 1, in time for Wales’ victory in the Six Nations opening match.

“The cycling itself was not the main problem,” the brothers both said of the ‘Ride to the Rugby’ challenge, “It was the weather!”

“We had everything thrown at us - sleet, rain, wind, ice and snow! It was freezing! But it was for such a worthwhile cause we gritted our teeth and kept going!

“We would like to say a big thank you to all those who have already sponsored us,” they added.
