A local fundraiser has lined up two charity events this year to benefit worthy causes.

First up is a charity bingo night being held at Kilgetty’s RAOB Club next month organised by Caroline Bridle, who was behind the successful event last year.

She will hope that once again people come out in their numbers to support the charity night which takes place on Friday, March 6.

“The beneficiaries will be the Huntingtons Disease Association, Bone Cancer Research Trust and Colostomy UK with funds going towards helping local people who are suffering, and I’m hoping to raise as much as possible,” explained Caroline of Saundersfoot.

In September, Caroline whose son Daniel sadly lost his battle with bone cancer in 2014 at the tender age of 18, leading to the Daniel Bridle Memorial Fund being established has also organised a concert at Folly Farm for the Daniel Bridle Memorial Fund in aid of Bone Cancer Research Trust.

The charity concert which will take place at the Follies Theatre will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 7 pm, with tribute act ABBA Legacy performing along with top Pembrokeshire choirs Bella Voce and Pembroke Male Voice Choir.

Tickets at £15 are available from Dales Music in Tenby; Tesco Express in Saundersfoot; and Begelly Bead Shop in Narberth.

“We’ve already sold over 100 tickets, and it’s a night to celebrate what would have been Daniel’s 25th birthday, ” continued Caroline.

“I would like to thank all the acts and Folly Farm, as well as St Brides Hotel for a very generous raffle worth over £500!”
