Lamphey and District WI held their annual St. David's Day celebration on Saturday, March 1, in Lamphey Village Hall.

This year, it was great to actually hold it on St. David's Day, and with 90 guests present, it was a very successful lunch, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The menu was cawl with cheese and French bread, rhubarb crumble and cream, coffee/tea, and Welsh cakes.

The WI helpers were terrific as usual, from cooking the meal, serving, setting up and generally organising the event, so a big thank you goes to all who were involved.

The proceeds of the day go mostly to local charities, and thanks go to all who came and bought raffle tickets.
