The highly anticipated Big Plant Sale returns to the Town Moor, Narberth on Saturday, April 28.

As one of the most important events on Pembrokeshire’s gardening calendar, The Big Plant Sale is 25 years old this year.

It’s been a much-loved part of the Narberth calendar for so long that spring in Pembrokeshire wouldn’t be the same without it.

With it being a hugely successful event, attendees travel from near and far to take advantage of West Wales’ finest plant-sellers, as well as the quality live music, local food and drink, sights, smells, and friendly atmosphere.

Expect textiles, floristry, surf wear, a craft area containing a range of selected local designers and makers showing and selling their work, and more. There’s even entertainment for the kids in the form of a bouncy castle and face painting!

The Plant Sale hosts a huge range of growers with an impressive range of flowers, herbs and vegetable plants, as well as specialist stock including bamboos, pond plants, succulents and cacti.

The event has been described as ‘the start of the summer social season’ with it being a diverse and fun-packed day for the community, bringing people from all over the three counties to the idyllic Pembrokeshire town.

The Big Plant Sale raises funds for Span Arts; the Narberth-based charity committed to providing performances and arts experiences for people from all over Pembrokeshire.

Last year, over 1,000 visitors attended the event over the course of the day, and we hope to attract even more this year.

Span Arts welcomes plant donations for their own stall and garden-related prizes for their Big Green Raffle.

The charity is always grateful for volunteers to help out with the Big Plant Sale at every level, so feel free to contact the office on 01834 869323 for more information if you are interested.

A handful of 6ft and 12ft stalls still available to book so call now to avoid disappointment. Put the date in your Gardener’s diary now!
