The clean-up operation on two beaches near Pembroke Dock has been continuing this week.
This follows the discovery of oil along the shoreline at Fort Road and Llanreath beaches the previous week.
Over the weekend, Pembrokeshire County Council officers monitored both beaches and found no evidence of further pollution on the shore.
On Monday, the council area maintenance team continued clearance work of the stream, which runs into Llanreath beach.
There was no contaminated materials/seaweed present on either beaches, but oil residues were noticed on some rocks. There was a very minimal amount of sheen on the water surface.
The rocks were manually cleaned.
Booms located at the outfall on Llanreath beach were working well and were replaced on Wednesday, along with the booms at the top of the stream.
The team also looked to install additional booms along the stream to intercept any oil residues following heavy rainfall and further prevent the risk of oil reaching the shore.
Signs warning members of the public about possible oil pollution will remain in place on the beaches, which along with the outfalls would continue to be monitored over the coming week.
