RNLI Angle's all-weather lifeboat was launched shortly after 10 pm on Wednesday of last week, following a report that a vessel was on fire at the entrance to Neyland Marina.
Fortunately, there was no one on board the vessel when the lifeboat arrived on the scene, and the fire had been extinguished.
Fire, Police, and Coastguard officers also attended and, when all involved were deemed safe and accounted for, the lifeboat returned to her station - arriving back at 11.15 pm.
The lifeboat was commanded by Fleet Staff Coxswain Martin Phillips and with him on the call-out were volunteer crew members Rich Bowles as mechanic, Derek Richards, Mark Roch, Mervyn Lunn, Mike Young, and Nigel Berry.
