Tuesday, January 1, 2019 sees the return of the annual Amroth Dippers Charity ‘New Year’s Day Swim’.
Registration will take place at the Amroth Arms from 11 am, and the brave dippers will be entering the chilly waters opposite at 11.30 am
All proceeds this year will be going to the RNLI.
Fancy dress is optional with a prize for the best dressed dipper.
Swimmers can look forward to a warming bonfire, hot soup or hot pork roll upon their return from the chilly waters.
So, come along for a dip, have fun and help to raise some money for the RNLI (Disclaimer: all dippers take part at their own risk).
This year during the evening, organisers will be building a bonfire outside the Amroth Arms with everyone able to make a wish and place it on the Christmas tree, and after the swim it will be burnt on the bonfire, with again all monies raised going towards the RNLI.
Join in the fun from 11 am in the village!
