The countdown is on to Amroth New Year’s Day Swim.

Taking place at 12 noon on Friday, January 1, the hardy dippers always prove to be a colourful sight as they take the plunge.

The village has been holding a New Year’s Day Swim in front of the Amroth Arms for over 30 years. It’s not just an opportunity to blow away some cobwebs, it’s a great day out, to fundraise for a great cause. And if you don’t fancy dipping in your bikini or speedos, you can always use your New Year’s Eve costume twice!

Whatever the weather there will be a roaring fire inside the Amroth Arms and a plentiful supply of hot punch, and hot roast pork rolls outside the pub, after the event, with some live entertainment thrown into the mix as well, with other establishments in the village also joining in with the New Year festivities.
