Tenby’s Blue Ball restaurant had a celebrity guest on Saturday evening - none other than award-winning actor Bill Nighy.
He has been in Pembrokeshire filming ’Their Finest Hour and a Half’, a big screen adaptation of Lissa Evans’s novel which is set in the Second World War.
Making a return visit to the Blue Ball having dined at the Upper Frog Street restaurant before when he was in the county, Mr. Nighy, who was on his own, was dropped off by his taxi on South Parade and entered via the kitchen chatting and shaking the hands of the members of staff present enroute to his table.
“He’s a world class superstar and we were so chuffed he visited us again,” said owner Debbie Neale.
“He was very chatty and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
“He loves Pembrokeshire and Welsh people and said he hoped to return when he films Heidi later in the year.”
