Along with so many other people in and around Pennar, as well as a wide section of the sporting fraternity and county educationalists, the members and friends of Pennar Community Church grieve deeply at the sudden death of our school headmaster Mr. Meyrick Rowlands.

Even as recently as the Tuesday before school break-up, Mr. Rowlands was 'presiding' over the graduation of the infants into the junior school with a ceremony at Bethany Chapel. His passing is a great loss to us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sunday services at Bethany Chapel are at 11 am and 6 pm and will be led by Rev. Roger Hart, with a prayer meeting on Monday at 7.30 pm.

Rodger's Ranch Line Dancers meet at 8 pm on Thursday.
