If you are a rugby fan, and are lucky enough to be heading to Cardiff this weekend to see the Wales team in action, you may well experience a taste of Tenby in some of the Welsh capital’s great ale-houses.

Tenby’s Harbwr Brewery have just relaunched their amber ale – North Star – and with their special-edition re-branding (designed by Andrew Lowe of Signature Design) are showing their full support for George North and the rest of the Welsh team as they take on England at The Principality Stadium.

Richard Johnson, head brewer at Harbwr Brewery, explains they have had record orders from real ale pubs in and around Cardiff in anticipation of the second Six Nations weekend, with two van loads being dispatched in the last 10 days, delivering casks and bottles to Cardiff landmarks such as The City Arms, The Lansdowne and The Owain Glyndwr.

North Star is one of the Brewery’s four core ales, and a limited edition seasonal stout La Nossa Signora makes up the range.

Such has been the positive feedback from beer enthusiasts across the whole range, Harbwr Brewery have also just entered the La Nossa and the IPA Caldey Lollipop in the Great Taste Awards 2017.
