Efforts are continuing today to find a man who got into difficulty in the water at Neyland Marina.
A multi-agency search has been ongoing to trace the man, who entered the water at around 3.30 pm on Sunday afternoon and has not been seen since.
The operation has involved Dyfed-Powys Police, HM Coastguard, a dive team from South Wales Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service boats, National Police Air Service (NPAS) helicopter and RNLI lifeboats.
The search was scaled back last night, and a cordon at the scene has been lifted, however the NPAS helicopter will be flying over at key times during the day, and officers will remain at the scene.
The man’s family has been informed about the search and is being updated and supported by specialist officers as enquiries continue.
Individuals who were with the man at the time of him entering the water are also being supported. A woman who went in to assist him but returned to shore along was checked over by ambulance teams and the scene and discharged from their care.
