Police have confirmed that two people have been arrested on suspicion of fraud after ‘fraudulent behaviour’ occurred in Tenby and Saundersfoot shops last weekend.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We received three reports of fraud from shops in Tenby, Saundersfoot and Llanelli on Friday, May 17, with two further reports made the following day.
“The victims described similar sleight of hand techniques being used.”
Police confirmed that two men from Birmingham, aged 25 and 29, arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation have been released under investigation, pending further police enquiries.
Around £2,000 and a small amount of US dollars were seized from a car on the M4 near Swansea, and a big haul of drugs, cash and mobile phones were also seized after a raid on a house in Carmarthen.
