Tenby’s RNLI crew were tasked to assist a broken down fishing vessel this morning (Saturday) on the busy Bank Holiday weekend.

Whilst returning relief lifeboat 16-06 to a mooring off Angle, the volunteer crew were tasked to assist a 24ft fishing vessel with machinery failure off Pier Head, Milford.

After being offered assistance, the crew of the casualty vessel confirmed that another boat had already been arranged to tow them into Milford.

The lifeboat stood-by until another the tow arrived, before returning to the mooring off Angle.
