A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Tenby pub has appeared at Swansea Crown Court.

Mark Adams, of Tintagel Way, Portsmouth, is alleged to have touched a woman’s bottom in a public house in the town on December 28 of last year.

No plea was entered during the brief hearing on Friday, June 1, and the 56-year-old - who was not legally represented in court - told judge Geraint Walters that he had only been given details of the prosecution case against him some 45 minutes before he had entered the dock.

Matters were adjourned to June 18, and Adams was released on bail until that date.
