Tenby’s all-weather lifeboat the Haydn Miller was requested to launch shortly after 5 pm today (Tuesday), following a report of a capsized dinghy off Ferryside, with the two occupants struggling to right the vessel.

Burry Port lifeboat crew were also tasked to the incident.

As the volunteer crew made best speed to the area, some 14 miles north-east of Tenby, the coastguard received a report that the crew of the casualty vessel had managed to right it and were no longer in difficulty, as such the lifeboat was stood down to return to station.
