Tenby’s RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew joined forces with the Coastguard teams yesterday evening (August 26) in response to a report that there was possibly someone in difficulty in the sea off Saundersfoot.

The all-weather lifeboat was launched at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, August 26, following the report. The volunteer crew were soon on scene and began their search, while Coastguard teams searched ashore.

With the search area exhausted and with nothing found and nobody reported missing, the lifeboat was stood down to return to station, arriving at 10.15pm.
