Coastguards from Tenby assisted a kayaker in difficulty near Lydstep on Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 2.15 pm on April 8, the Tenby Coastguard team along with HM Coastguard St. Govans were paged to attend the scene.

Upon arrival, information was received that the casualty had been recovered to the beach.

Coastguard rescue officers located the casualty on the beach and assessed them for injuries.

Following the assessment, the casualty was advised to visit hospital for a further review, and the coastguard teams stood down.
