Crews from Pembroke Dock, Tenby, Narberth, Haverfordwest, Milford Haven and Ammanford attended a fire that had brokeb out at an airfield in Carew on Monday.

A large quantity of wood and a large industrial mechanical digger were well alight when firefighters arrived at the scene at around midday.

Firefighters extinguished the fire using four hose reel jets, one major jet, four breathing apparatus, one mechanical digger and a thermal imaging camera.

All appliances were stood down shortlt after 6 pm, and the incident was left with on-site staff to monitor overnight.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service re-attend the incident the following morning to assess the situation and declared the incident closed.
