Tenby’s all-weather lifeboat the Haydn Miller was launched shortly before 6 pm this evening (Thursday, July 22), following a report of a kayaker in difficulty off St Govans.
The volunteer crew made best speed to St Govans and as the were arriving, noticed three kayaks off Broadhaven.
After speaking with the kayakers, they confirmed that they had come from the St Govans area but were not in difficulty.
After checking that there was nobody else in danger in the area, the lifeboat returned to station, arriving at 7.15 pm
