Police in Tenby are warning residents in the area to take no notice of hoax phone calls from a person purporting to have connections to the police force.

“An unknown person has telephoned a local businessman - the caller gave the name of a local serving police officer and stated they were working in a Cyber Crime prevention unit,” said PCSO 8028?Andrew Griffiths

“The caller has asked for a donation. Dyfed Powys Police does not make phone calls to any members of the public asking for donations for any reason,” he added.
