Police have been called to a disturbance at Penally Camp today (Tuesday, October 20) where arrests have been made.
Eye witnesses from the village took to social media this afternoon to state that there was a large police presence at the facility, with over a dozen police vehicles in attendance.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We were called to a disturbance involving a small group of people within the Penally Asylum Accommodation Centre at around 1.45 pm today (Tuesday, 20 October 20).
“Two people have been arrested, a 22 year-old-man and a 25 year-old man. The 22 year old was arrested on suspicion of affray, and the 25 year old was arrested on suspicion of assault. No one was taken to hospital. The investigation is ongoing.”
