PHOTO REEL: Pembroke Dock and Pembroke Neighbourhood Policing Team have enjoyed a week of getting involved in the community.

Neighbourhood Policing Week took place this year between January 22 and 28.

They conducted joint patrols around Monkton with County Councillor Jonathan Grimes, speaking with residents in Monkton and listening to their concerns in the community.

Members of the team attended Pennar’s Warm Space and also visited the Foundry House Warm Space in Pembroke. They also visited a monthly Street Pastors’ meeting to discuss any issues or concerns in the community.

The team held an event at the town hall on January 24 called Cuppa with a Copper to discuss any concerns in the area. Was great to meet some of the locals in the community.

They were invited to the VC gallery in Pembroke Dock to discuss the role of a PCSO, which made for “brilliant day.”

PCSOs 8042 and 8143 attended the Bethel Lunch at Bethel Church in Pembroke Dock. They said it was great to see so many people and speak to the community and staff.

Members of the Neighbourhood Policing team were invited to the Foundry House in Pembroke to meet the Lamphey Beavers, and had an amazing evening.

PCSO 8042 attended Pater Hall's weekly warm room along with Town Councillor Claire Francis and many people from the community. “It was a lovely turn out,” they said, and they were joined by Graham Phillips who played the bagpipes to help celebrate Burns Night.

On the evening of January 26, local police joined patrols with the British Transport Police around local train stations to tackle antisocial behaviour issues on the trains. While working with BTP, they saw some great football skills on show at PL Kicks.
