A Pembroke man has been released on conditional bail after pleading guilty to using threatening behaviour towards his ex-partner.

Forty-eight-year-old Martin John Phillips, of Commons Road, admitted the charge when he appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday.

Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told the court that as it was a domestic violence matter, an interview with probation would be required.

Mr. Phillips will meet with the probation service before returning to court for a hearing on Wednesday, November 9.

He was released on bail with conditions to not contact the complainant directly or indirectly; not to enter Monkton; to reside at his address; and to co-operate with the probation service.
