A Narberth man accused of responding violently to a request to turn down the music he was playing will go on trial in the summer.

Carlon Elvis Craig, aged 27, is accused of leaping out of a window with a knife in his hand and telling police officers he was going to stab a man.

Craig, of Townsmoor, appeared before Judge Geraint Walters at Swansea crown court on Thursday for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

He denied possessing an offensive weapon - an ashtray - in the car park at Townsmoor on February 25 and assaulting Philip Clive Jones with it causing actual bodily harm.

Craig also denied threatening Mr. Jones while holding a knife.

Craig, who is being held in custody at Swansea prison, will stand trial on June 20.

The court heard the assault allegation was that Craig hit Mr. Jones on the head with the ashtray.
