A twenty-nine-year-old male from Narberth has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

There were severe traffic delays going into the town centre following the incident in Narberth on Tuesday (April 13) afternoon, with Dyfed-Powys Police’s Armed Response Unit attending.

“A 29-year-old male has been arrested from an address in High Street, Narberth on Tuesday afternoon, April 13 on suspicion of making threats to kill,” said a police spokesperson.

“He currently remains in police custody. No-one was injured during the incident.

“Short road closures were put in place whilst the arrest took place. We would like to thank the public for their patience as police dealt with the incident,” they added.
