Tenby Coastguard rescue team were tasked to assist Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust paramedics with a casualty who had fallen on the footpath near Waterwynch on Wednesday evening.
Coastguards were paged at 7.25 pm, and with paramedics having assessed the casualty and administered medical assistance, it was decided that they were unable to move the casualty due to the terrain.
Therefore, coastguard officers used a stretcher to carry the casualty from the footpath to the awaiting land ambulance for further treatment at hospital.
