Tenby's Inshore lifeboat was tasked to launch just before 3.30pm on Sunday (May 13) after the Coastguard received a 999 call reporting that several children were cut-off by the incoming tide on the sand bank at the back of the Tenby Harbour pier.
The lifeboat was on scene within a minute of launching.
The casualties managed to climb up the end of the pier just prior to the inshore lifeboat arriving, and were then met by members of Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team and given safety advice.
