Two men arrested after a disturbance within Penally Asylum Accommodation Centre yesterday (Tuesday, October 20) have been released on police bail with the condition not to enter Pembrokeshire.
An investigation is ongoing after police were called to the incident at the camp at around 1.45 pm.
Eye witnesses from the village took to social media on Tuesday afternoon to state that there was a large police presence at the facility, with over a dozen police vehicles in attendance.
Superintendent Anthony Evans said: “Two men arrested after a disturbance within the Penally Asylum Accommodation Centre yesterday (Tuesday, October 20) have been released on police bail with the condition not to enter Pembrokeshire.
“The 22-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of affray, and the 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault, will not be returning to the Penally site.
“Investigations are ongoing,” he added.
