Dyfed-Powys Police received a report that a vehicle had been stolen from North Street in Haverfordwest sometime between 10pm on Sunday, May 27, and 10.30am on Monday, May 28.
A further report was made that a driver had made off from a petrol garage without paying, with the vehicle matching the description of that reported stolen.
A 32-year-old man was arrested in the Narberth area and charged with driving while disqualified, theft of a motor vehicle, making off without payment and driving without third party insurance.
A second man was arrested and released without charge.
