Anti-social behaviour occurring at Tenby’s multi-storey car park has been targeted by the local neighbourhood policing team over the festive and New Year period.
Over December and the beginning of January local police officers and PCSOs have dealt with a number of issues at the facility located on Upper Park Road with one Section 59 notice issued, allowing officers to seize and remove a vehicle, which they believe is being driven inconsiderately or carelessly and causing, or is likely to cause, alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public; and seven warning letters issued to culprits regarding unacceptable behaviour.
“Complaints have arisen from local residents with regards to anti-social activity at the multi-storey, in particular noise nuisance caused by vehicles and mopeds,” said a police spokesperson.
“We want to get the message out that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and action will be taken,” they added.
