Tenby and Saundersfoot Community First Responders were honoured to be invited to Parc y Scarlets, Llanelli, recently to receive an award in the West Wales Community Awards.

The awards were organised by WalesOnline, Llanelli Star and Carmarthen Journal, and honoured tremendous feats of bravery, selflessness and determination, with awards handed out to a number of deserving individuals and groups after the work they have put in across the last 12 months.

After receiving the award, which was received jointly with Llanelli Community First Responders, Tony Wall, co-ordinator of Tenby & Saundersfoot First Responders, said: “It’s a great honour to be recognised for the work we do in responding to emergencies within our communities on behalf of the Welsh Ambulance Service. Thanks to all who voted - we couldn’t do it without your support”.
