Cheering crowds support over 530 runners in Tenby 10k

By Observer Reporter in Athletics

A total of 536 eager runners took part in the annual Tenby 10k hosted by the Taf Running and Orienteering Team on Sunday.

The race started to the music from Chariots of Fire play by the brass band playing in Tudor Square as the runners headed around The Esplanade and out to Penally before heading back to legendary finish in Tudor Square.

The atmosphere in the square was amazing, with large crowds cheering on the runners in the finish. Even the slight shower couldn’t dampen the crowds spirits.

The organisers would like to thank their sponsors: W. P. Lewis and Sons, Howies, Run and Become, Paramount Networking, Bwlchygroes Farm Feeds without whom the race would not be possible.
