A Pembroke Dock man has been given a 12 month conditional discharge after admitting a drugs possession charge in court.

Twenty-nine-year-old David Graham Lewis, of Meyrick Street, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Wednesday, to admit a charges of being in possession of 2.37 grams of amphetamine on March 5 in Pembroke Dock.

An arrest warrant had been issued the previous day after Mr. Lewis failed to appear in court for a scheduled hearing with his defence solicitor stating that his client had indicated that he was unwell with ‘sickness and diarrhoea’ and couldn’t attend.

Magistrates gave the defendant a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.
