Tri stars of the future

By Observer Reporter in Youth Sport

Thirty-two children attended a triathlon ‘skills school’ organised by Just Tri Junior Triathlon Club.

The day kicked-off with a session in the pool and the children were put through their paces working on different skills. The rest of the day consisted of running, cycling and transition skills.

The group were made up of boys and girls aged between seven and 14 years of age. Every single child gave 100 per cent throughout the day!

The day concluded with an award ceremony which saw athletes presented with a certificate and medal for attending.

Just Tri are starting their second block of sessions on Thursday, April 27, at 7 pm, on Greenhill astro turf. Anybody who signs up for the 12 week block before the 27th will receive a Just Tri cycling top! For further details, email or join Just Tri - Junior Tri on Facebook.
